Residents of St. Joseph now have a new way to explore how City funds are collected and spent, with the launch of the new Budget Transparency Portal.
Residents who travel along St. Joseph’s Parkway should make alternate driving plans beginning Tuesday, March 17, when the City’s Streets Division closes a section of the roadway to complete essential street improvements.
The City, in coordination with Union Pacific Railroad, will implement temporary road closures on Thursday, March 12, and Friday, March 13, to allow for pavement approach repairs at a couple of railroad crossings.
The City will implement a temporary school zone along Faraon St from Heartland Rd to Riverside Rd following recent safety concerns involving students crossing between Mosaic Life Care and the University of Missouri–Kansas City medical facilities.
St. Joseph’s dedication to strengthening public safety and supporting law enforcement has earned the City the Missouri Blue Shield designation for 2026 from the Missouri Department of Public Safety.
