The Joyce Raye Patterson 50+ Activity Center (JRP) is an 22,000 square foot facility for citizens over the age of 50 to work out, socialize, and participate in a variety of programs and activities. The JRP includes a fitness center, pool and table shuffleboard area, cafeteria, and rooms of various sizes to meet almost any kind of activity. Approximately 55 groups and organizations meet either daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly.
St. Joseph residency is not required to enjoy use of the center. Parking and access to the center is convenient to users with parking below the building and street-side. An elevator is located in the building for easy access from the lower level parking area.
COVID-19 Notice - Due to the pandemic, masks are required to be worn in all areas of the Joyce Raye Patterson 50+ Activity Center facility. Visitor's cooperation is appreciated.
Effective on January 1, 2021, all city facilities and departments will charge a convenience fee of 3% for all debit and credit card transactions online and in-person.
Cafeteria Menu (PDF) - The cafeteria is serving lunch, carry-out or dine-in, from 11am-12:30pm. At this time, only two people per table in the dining room and three people per table in the multipurpose room.
